According to the Department of Defense Base Structure Report dated 30 September 2002 (the last complete report), the United States military stateside and overseas government installations number more than 700. Note that this list does not include embassies, missions, peacekeeping installations, and other non-military government offices located here and abroad.

The following figures are taken from the DOD Base Structure Report. After reviewing these figures, be sure to review the actual list of installations.
