How To Prevent Shin Splints For Sales Clerks

Shopping malls and groceries stores need sales clerks and cashiers to operate. They are responsible of communicating with the costumers and things such as welcoming them, assessing their needs and answering the questions that they may have. They assist costumers in choosing the right products that they need to ensure that they are satisfied. They also perform financial transactions such as operating the cash register, receiving payments from the customer and bagging the purchased products. And they are responsible of describing the products features, demonstrating the use of the products being sold, and operating the products. But their main problem is the pain most of them suffer because of prolonged standing that causes shin splints. Rest and applying ice is the most recommended shin splints treatment. This is because shin splints cause dull, aching pain in the front of the lower leg.

A lot of people look to alleviate the pain the condition causes. And there are so many strategies for treating shin splints. Some use ice to reduce the pain and swelling of the muscles, making sure to rest while doing so, some maintain their health with other non-weight bearing exercises such as swimming, cycling or running in water, some use anti-inflammatory drugs, and some take to wearing shock absorbing insoles in shoes. But prevention is better than to cure. That is why most sales clerks and cashiers usually lay down on their bed and couches after work to stretch their legs and lessen the pain caused by prolonged standing at work.
